The Dog Park at Immanuel is the first of its kind in Indianapolis. About 2 years prior to the grand opening of the park, Immanuel was looking for a way to partner with the community members of Bates Hendricks Neighborhood Association. We asked them how we might be able to help them. One of the suggestions was a dog park on a piece of property that the church owned. That sounded intriguing to us. A place for dogs to stretch their legs and for their people to get to know one another! Four months after the park opened, there were 433 human families as members and a lot more dogs than that! It is a place where people come to visit and build relationships and for dogs to socialize with one another. To be a member, the cost for up to three dogs is just $20 a year. All dogs must have current vaccinations. Visit The Dog Park at Immanuel on Facebook or visit our website at IndyDogPark.org to find out more information.
